Paul Angelis (born 18 January 1943, Liverpool) is an English actor and writer best known for his role as PC Bannerman in the British television series Z Cars and as the Chief Blue Meanie and Ringo in Yellow Submarine.

His most famous film role was as both the Chief Blue Meanie and Ringo in Yellow Submarine.

He is the older brother of Michael Angelis, who is famous for narrating the popular children's TV show, Thomas and Friends.
