Paul Angelis (born 18 January 1943 - died 19 March 2009, Liverpool) was an English actor and writer best known for his role as PC Bannerman in the British television series Z Cars and as the Chief Blue Meanie and Ringo in Yellow Submarine.

He is the older brother of Michael Angelis, who is famous for narrating the popular long-running British children's TV show, Thomas & Friends from 1991 to 2012, which Ringo had previously narrated 5 years prior from 1984-1986.
